A physical therapist is an expert in the physical examination of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries. Your physical therapy begins with one of our physical therapists' evaluating and identifying the underlying cause of your injury rather than merely treating the symptoms.
This philosophy focuses on a detailed biomechanical analysis, which allows us to determine the faulty movement pattern and identify the mechanism of injury.
Based on their findings, the physical therapist will recommend a treatment plan including stretching and strengthening exercises to address biomechanical faults and modalities to address pain, swelling, and inflammation. We also provide extensive patient education, which encourages patient involvement and promotes injury prevention.

Free Consultations
We offer a Free Consultation with a licensed physical therapist to see if physical therapy can help you, your family or friends...our goal is to make your life easier by alleviating your pain. We do this as a free community service.
Many times an individual is not certain if their injury or pain can be helped with physical therapy. Yet there is no way to find out unless you have someone with experience to ask and consult.
NMSMC offers this complimentary consultation, at which time you can explain your injury and background information. If we can help and subsequently treat your problem, we can schedule a time for a complete evaluation and follow-up treatment. If we believe your problem may require another opinion from a different healthcare professional, we will make an appropriate recommendation.
Stop by any of our 6 locations to receive a FREE physical therapy consultation.
We are proud to be a part of the communities we serve and are committed to providing unparalleled healthcare advice and service. We will be offering free injury and pain consultations to any active individual seeking expert advice about an injury or pain.
